Oxford:.The U.S. military this week will launch its first X-37B military space plane mission from California, U.S. officials said.
The X-37B is a reusable, unmanned, experimental spaceplane developed by Boeing for the U.S. Air Force. The roughly 30-foot-long (nine-meter-long) vehicle, which resembles a miniature space shuttle, will launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base near Lompoc, Calif. on Wednesday, officials said.
The space plane will spend about six months in orbit, where it will conduct classified payloads, NASA officials said.
The first X-37B mission was launched by the Air Force in April 2010 for 15 months. The next launch of the mission is scheduled for late 2014 or early 2015.
The X-37B program is operated by the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., and Boeing.
The aircraft program has a goal to demonstrate technologies for a variety of space operations, including future space station assembly, in-space maintenance, rendezvous and docking and in-space propellant depot operations, Boeing has said. The X-37B is designed to stay in orbit for about 270 days.
The X-37B was designed to be reusable and able to land like an airplane. Once landed on a runway, X-37B will be recovered and transported inside a modified C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.

Thinking about plants you’re in a garden and think about the plants you know, and then begin to speculate on how new forms or functions or structures can develop, and wonder whether evolutionary or what is a factor in transforming the course of events and what could be more important than they may be, in the long term. The overwhelming theme of the science of evolution is that the course of evolutionary events is determined by the physical world.
As with any living creatures, plants have their own lives, including their own development. The real point of the subject is that the processes of life on earth and the processes of life in the heavens are identical. Growth and form in plants offer a number of interesting examples. For instance, the formation of a flowering plant is very interesting, particularly in how the flower is formed in the plant. If you observe the growth of a tomato plant, you will note that the growth cycle lasts from a branching point in a plant to the growth of roots, elongation of the stem and then the opening of the green leaves. After the plant is established, the plants engage in a number of chemical reactions through metabolism, which are vital for a plant to function, such as for the formation of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids. The metabolic function of plants plays an extremely important role in their life.
As is the case with animals, the plant has a circulatory system of fluid through the plant. This is known as the xylem and phloem. Through these, the plant is able to transport water and nutrients in the form of dissolved minerals to the plant cells. Some plants are able to store water, and most are able to find foods to ingest. When a plant arrives at maturity, it produces an enlarged and developed seed. The fruit or seed will fall or be carried to a place where the plant can disperse the seed. For plants to have a very long life span, it is a good idea to
